Painting at Juniper Hills Farms, Dripping Springs

Sibby Barrett generously let our Plein Air Austin group paint her beautiful Juniper Hills Farms today. It was clear that Sibby has an artist's eye - every corner of the property has something interesting, beautiful and charmingly hand-crafted. I can't wait to come stay up here in one of her cabins some time soon. Despite the overcast, we had a good-sized group of painters gather and enjoy the morning. I particularly loved the little burros (or are they miniature donkeys?)... so sweet.

Me with my new furry (and very dusty) friends.

The cuteness was nearly lethal!

  1. Looks good. Must have be weird to working in the cool for a change. Beryl looks like she managed to get a good painting. Love the donkey. Would have come along but didn't get the code to the gate, so assumed the paint out was off due to the inclement weather.
