Puppy Dave

You've just got to love a couple who name their dog, Dave, don't you?  I was very fortunate that this new-to-San Francisco pair found out about my animal art via Bay Woof and contacted me to do a watercolor / pen & ink for them.

This is 9" x 12", Uniball pen, Derwent watercolor pencil and Schminke watercolor paint on watercolor paper.  Taken from a photo they received when they rescued Dave, I just loved that puppy tummy maybe most of all.  This guy has personality plus.
